I started working at a golf club when I was just 12 years old, picking up the driving range for the local professional. After playing on my high school golf team in Denver, Colorado, I went to the University of Wyoming where I played on the golf team, and also helped teach the university golf classes. Joining the PGA of America in 1993, I worked at the following facilities for several years while earning my PGA Class A status in August 1997:
Indian Peaks Golf Course in Lafeyette, Colorado
Assistant Golf Professional and Junior Team Coach
Desert Hills Golf Club in Green Valley, Arizona
Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction
After 8 years as Head Golf Professional, I decided to do what I love full-time, TEACHING golf! I worked at Tucson Golf Schools for 2 years and taught golf to all ability levels from beginners to professionals. To increase my ability to teach more golfers, I took the position of Director of Instruction at the Las Vegas National Golf Club.
After moving to Phoenix, I am now proud to be teaching at Adobe Dam Golf Center, Located in Glendale / Peoria area of the Phoenix metroplex. I am available for Private Lessons, Group Lessons, Clinics, and Vacation Golf Schools. With over 16 years experience teaching golf to all levels, from beginners through advanced players.
